Tell us a bit about yourself...
I am a qualified Bookkeeper and trainer who enjoys working with Arts practitioners - sole traders and groups. I mainly use MYOB
which I am happy to install and train how to use. The Arts community is special and I offer my bookkeeping skills - tidying up
accounts, support, restructuring, and regular bookkeeping to aid and assist practitioners fulfill their financial obligations and then
they are free to do what they love doing - creating!
I am available for weekly work or once a quarter when it's time to do the BAS.
Do you have much experience working with creative freelancers?
My clients are music producers, art festival organisers, not for profit and Government funded Arts organisations.
Do you specialise in any particular creative areas?
No I am happy to work with them all. Sole Traders mainly.
What is the ideal relationship that a creative freelancer can have with his or her book keeper?
Open communication, helpful, friendly.
What services do you provide for clients?
I provide consultation in setting up small business, MYOB installation and training, MYOB bookkeeping and liaison with arts
accountants, Electra Frost, Entart.( Other groovies! -ed)
Would you like to say anything to creative freelancers who might be looking for a new book keeper?
I am groovy! I understand the minds of creative people. I am flexible, friendly and helpful.
How much do you charge?
I charge $50 per hour for bookkeeping and $60 an hour for training.
