"Freelance Success came about as a result of Monica
listening to people in creative fields and hearing that there
was a real need for skills  - not only in how to survive as
a creative freelancer, but also prosper.”

Here’s what some of those organisations have said -

"Thanks again for speaking to the Bondi Writers' Group last Saturday Monica: you were just what the writers' group
ordered! With so many of us at least trying to make some money from writing, it was heartening to meet a person
who (a) IS making money from writing, (b) was positive about our ability to make money and (c) had such good
advice about copyright and the business of writing. I think this kind of talk is invaluable to all writing groups, and I
hope that you will continue to inspire and entertain people with all your enthusiasm and know-how."
Gabiann Marin
Degree Coordinator, SAE College Sydney Campus 2006
“The course was presented with flair, although I didn’t like the subject matter – one of my personal hang-ups. There
was an abundance of relevant material tailored to our profession, all delivered in a friendly yet informed manner.
Monica made this dry subject much more interesting.”

Sirrocco, Musica Viva
“Monica has effectively presented a version of the Freelance Success for the past two years to over 50 degree
students all of whom have responded with glowing feedback. Monica’s personable teaching style, infinite capacity
to explain and illuminate information to a wide range of people and her professional attitude made her a wonderful
guest addition to our faculty. I fully intend to continue SAE's Involvement with Monica Davidson and Freelance
Success and expect to continue to see our student
appreciation of this course."
Christine Butler
President, Bondi Writers' Group
"Monica Davidson is a great seasoned speaker. Considering that NAFA has mixed interests in acting, writing and
filmmaking, I was impressed that she made her talk relevant to all creatives within our group. She certainly
entertained and inspired us with her willingness to share her insights and her down-to-earth approach to
business. I especially liked her practical solutions, drawn from her many years of experience. Many from our group
benefited from her positive vibes and are interested in doing her courses in the future."

Head of NAFA Productions
